Forfar duo set to make their debuts

Euan Spark and Gareth Rodger are in line for the Forfar debuts against Stranraer.

Spark has arrived on loan from Dundee United while goalkeeper Rodger has also recently moved to Station Park.

Forfar, who are looking for their first win since Gary Bollan was appointed manager in December, will be without Michael Travis due to a knee injury.

Bollan said: "It has been a bit stop-start with postponements and cup ties. Hopefully we now have the chance to go on a run and improve our league position in the manner that Stranraer have done recently.

"We have a squad capable of doing that and winning this game would be a terrific start."

Ryan Thomson is an injury doubt for Stranraer, who will definitely be missing the suspended Willie Gibson. David McGurn (broken toe), Lee Mair (groin), David Barron (back) and Chris Aitken (calf) are also absentees.

Visiting manager Brian Reid said: "Willie has been a big player for us recently but Mark McGuigan has been waiting for his chance to show us what he can do.

"We won at Albion Rovers in midweek and it was not that great a performance. However, it showed that we can secure wins from games that we would have dropped points in earlier in the season. We may need that approach in this game."
