Forfar eye cup repeat against Gers

Forfar entertain Rangers at Station Park for the second time this season and manager Dick Campbell lists the same squad that defeated East Fife 3-1 last Saturday.

Injuries have ruled out Derek Soutar (shoulder), Mark McCulloch (knee), Martyn Fotheringham (ankle) and Keith Gibson (knee).

Campbell said: "We are ready for what will be a really hard game and the players are well briefed as we told them on Tuesday who they would be playing.

"We won the first game against Rangers (in the Scottish League Cup) however we are facing a very different line-up and also a team that wants revenge. However if we play like we did last time we have a chance."

Rangers duo Lewis Macleod and Lee Wallace both face fitness tests ahead of the clash as the Glasgow club look to extend their 100 per cent start to the League One season.

Macleod has been out with a knee problem, while Wallace is struggling with a hip injury.

Ian Black is still suspended while Kyle Hutton, Ross Perry and Chris Hegarty remain on the sidelines.
