Loons without trio

Forfar miss the injured Mick Dunlop (knee), Stephen Tulloch (pelvis) and Martyn Fotheringham (ankle) as they host champions Queen of the South at Station Park.

The Loons sit in a play-off place and manager Dick Campbell reckons that the Doonhamers' second defeat of the season against Stenhousemuir in midweek will be good and bad for his side.

He said: "Our players will have seen that result and taken confidence from it which is good. However their manager Allan Johnston will not want the season to finish on a low so he will be doubly determined to beat us.

"We lost 1-0 to Alloa last week but I am not planning many changes as we played really well. If we play as well this time I am sure we can pick up the win."

Champions Queen of the South will be without Ian McShane through a hip injury and Willie Gibson who has now left the club as they return to the ground where they clinched the title last month.

Their success was clinched with a 6-0 win over short term tenants Brechin although this time they are facing the landlords, with player/manager Allan Johnston saying: "It was a wonderful night, however it has no bearing on this game.

"Forfar will be going all out to beat us as they have promotion hopes of their own.

"We lost to Stenhousemuir in midweek rather unluckily but our season is by no means over as I want us to create a Second Division points record and we need four more points to do that."
