Andrew Black, Michael Rose and Scott Martin back for Forfar against Peterhead

Forfar welcome back loan players Andrew Black, Michael Rose and Scott Martin for their Scottish League One clash at home to Peterhead.

The trio were not allowed to feature against Queen's Park in the Scottish Cup, which the Loons won 2-1 thanks to Christopher Templeman's winner 13 minutes from time.

Manager Dick Campbell will finalise his squad after fitness checks on Templeman, Michael Travis, Derek Young and Martyn Fotheringham but Thomas O'Brien (calf) and Michael Dunlop (knee) are out.

Campbell said: "It was terrific to get through in the cup in very trying circumstances due to the weather and being short of bodies. Having done that I would now like us to start getting our league season going in the right direction."

Peterhead are back in action after a 10-day break bolstered by the return of their loan players Cammy Kerr, Ally Gilchrist and Jassem Sukar.

They were unable to play in the 3-1 Scottish Cup defeat to Livingston by their parent clubs. Scott Ross is out with ankle injury.

Manager Jim McInally said: "I watched Forfar win on Saturday and they were able to create danger by using Chris Templeman as a target man and by Danny Denholm's trickery on the wing.

"We will need to blunt those threats if we are to win."
