Forfar to face Elgin with fully-fit squad

Ladbrokes League Two table-toppers Forfar are at full strength for the visit of second-placed Elgin.

Station Park manager Gary Bollan expects a tough test.

He said: "Elgin will be in the title and promotion hunt all season as they are a well-organised and fit side. They will be annoyed at sitting three points behind us after losing to Arbroath and will see this as an opportunity to pull level.

"We won down at Berwick last weekend and whilst there were faults in the performance I was delighted that we picked up three points at what is a very difficult venue. It would be great to pick up another three points."

Elgin City will be missing Scott Smith due to an ankle problem however Darryl McHardy is available to travel.

Manager Jim Weir has told his men they have to be on their guard against their hosts.

Weir said: "It is no surprise that Forfar have started the season well as they have good players and a manager who knows what is required to do well in this league. They are particularly strong in attack and we need to be strong defensively throughout the game.

"I am also looking for our forward players to have a positive influence as we are creating chances but need to convert them into goals."
