Forfar boosted by Faero

Forfar will have Faroese international Odmar Faero back in their squad when East Fife visit after the defender recovered from minor knee surgery.

The Loons' assistant manager Ian Campbell knows what is required to have an exciting end of the season.

"We are a point behind Arbroath in the play-off race but we have a game in hand so things are still in our hands and they remain that way if we keep winning," he said.

"This game will not be easy as there is very little between the teams in this league with the exception of Queen of the South and East Fife will be smarting after losing heavily in midweek.

"We battled to get a win at Albion Rovers in midweek and will need to battle again."

East Fife hope to have Darren Smith fit and in their squad after an ankle injury when they chase afirst win in three months.

Manager Billy Brown will freshen things up following Tuesday night's 6-0 defeat from Brechin City.

He said: "I have to put out a side that will be more solid both individually and as a group. The Brechin result was really disappointing and we are on a disappointing run but we can get out of it."

"Goals change games and if we could get ahead and get some confidence into our team we can start winning games.

"At the moment if we go behind we do not seem confident that we will get back into things."
