Omar Kader returns for unbeaten Forfar

Table topping Forfar include Omar Kader in the squad to face Dunfermline after the winger returned to Station Park just two months after leaving for Alloa.

An ankle injury keeps Mark Baxter absent, while Thomas O'Brien and Gavin Swankie (both hamstring) are ruled out for Forfar, who remain unbeaten and welcome back Kevin Nicoll after suspension.

Manager Dick Campbell said: "Dunfermline have done really well so far this season and we respect that. However I am sure that they will respect how well we have done and the resilience shown by our players to get the point we needed to stay top at Ayr last weekend.

"We will need another resilient display to win this game."

Shaun Rooney has joined Dunfermline from Queen's Park, and the defender has been included in Allan Johnston's squad to take to Station Park.

He is likely to fill the spot vacated by Ryan Williamson, after suffering a broken leg, while midfielder Lewis Spence is absent with a shoulder problem.

Johnston said: "Forfar have quality and experience in their team however we have gone to their place and won in the Petrofac Cup already this season. We will take confidence from that and look to take the game to them.

"They are a very well organised side who will compete in the top half of the table all season so picking up a win would be a tremendous result."
