No Faero for Forfar

Forfar will be without Odmar Faero when they host Dunfermline at Station Park.

Faero is struggling with a back problem, but manager Dick Campbell is expecting for his side to give the Pars another uncomfortable afternoon.

Campbell said: "We beat Dunfermline 4-0 at our place back in October and were only a denied a win at East End Park in the second game when they scored an injury-time equaliser.

"I'm looking for us to give them another hard game and for the three points that will get our promotion push going again.

"They will freshen things up after losing to Rangers last Friday, but we'll be ready for them."

Dunfermline will include recent signings Danny Grainger, Jonathan Page and Ross Forbes in their squad.

The trio were not allowed to feature against Rangers last week as they were all cup-tied.

Striker Allan Smith is also added to the travelling party after returning from illness.

Manager Jim Jefferies said: "We'll have more experience in our team than we did against Rangers as the new boys can all play.

"The last time we played up at Forfar we showed our inexperience as we lost really bad goals.

"We had played well, but were punished for making bad mistakes. We'll be ready this time."
