Travis and Dunlop missing for Forfar
Forfar face Cowdenbeath without Michael Travis, who has a knee injury, and Michael Dunlop with a calf problem.
Iain Campbell is also carrying with a calf injury, but he has told manager Gary Bollan that he will play through the pain.
Bollan said: "We played very well in midweek at Airdrie and deserved more than the 1-1 draw. What we have to do now is hit that level of performance consistently.
"We know that winning moves us upwards and hopefully it will also mark the turnaround in our season."
Cowdenbeath hope to have Liam Callaghan back in their ranks after injury but Jamie Sneddon (thigh), Fraser Kerr (hand) and Kyle Miller (foot) are all ruled out.
Blue Brazil boss Colin Nish said: "We recognise that this is a big game for both teams. We have the chance to move five points clear with seven games still to be played and we will look to take it.
"The key thing for Cowdenbeath is to ensure that we go in front. Too often recently we have been chasing games and that has left us vulnerable and requiring three goals to get anything from a game."
