Martyn Fotheringham back for Forfar's clash with Cowdenbeath

Forfar have Martyn Fotheringham available after injury as they look to end a disappointing run of 10 league games without a win when they take on Cowdenbeath.

Derek Young is out through illness, while knee injuries keep out Michael Travis and Thomas O'Brien, and Michael Dunlop is sidelined through a calf problem.

Manager Dick Campbell said: "The run of matches without a league win has been extremely frustrating and we will be doing everything we can to end it. It will not be easy as I have watched Cowdenbeath twice recently and been impressed.

"They have a very exciting strike force and we will need to handle them."

Cowdenbeath, who will be without the injured Kyle Miller (foot) and Lewis Milne (knee), head to Station Park on a high after defeating Arbroath 4-2 in midweek to secure a live TV Scottish Cup berth against Rangers at Ibrox in January.

Also missing for the Blue Brazil is Sam Orritt, who had his contract cancelled by mutual consent this week.

Manager Colin Nish said: "Monday night's game was a huge one for the club to win however we have to get back to focusing on league matters now.

"A win would lift us above Forfar and complete a good week's work by everyone at the club."
