Travis in Forfar squad

Forfar include new signing Michael Travis in their squad to face Brechin.

The former Livingston and Arbroath defender opted to sign for the Loons ahead of Montrose.

Midfielder Derek Young will miss out, however, as he is carrying a knee injury.

Manager Dick Campbell said: "We have been playing well for a few weeks now so I am not for making many changes.

"This is a big game in the season for both clubs and we won it 5-1 last year, however I am not going to tempt fate and say we are going to do something like that again."

Brechin have lost Kyle McAusland after he returned to Rangers at the end of his loan spell with Aberdeen youngster Jamie Masson including for the last time before he goes back to Pittodrie.

Callum Tapping remains out with a knee injury with Glebe Park boss Ray McKinnon tempted to give youngster Craig Wighton, who is on loan from Dundee, his first start.

He said: "Both sides are going well and it could take something a bit different to find a winner.

"Craig is only 17 but he is the type of player who would thrive in a derby atmosphere and I am tempted to use him from the start."
