Teenager Storie gets his chance

Forfar are expected to hand a start to teenage loan signing Craig Storie against Brechin.

The Aberdeen midfielder, 17, looks set to make his full debut as long-term absentees Derek Soutar (shoulder) and Keith Gibson (knee) remain sidelined and Iain Campbell is struggling with a hip injury.

The Loons could also be without Marvin Andrews and James Dale, who are both rated as doubtful.

Manager Dick Campbell said: "Craig is young, but he is a player I have had my eye on for a while and I am delighted to bring him here.

"I am looking forward to seeing him in action against a decent Brechin side."

Brechin head to Forfar on the back of two wins over neighbours Arbroath with only midfielder Allan Walker, who has a knee injury, missing from manager Ray McKinnon's pool.

McKinnon, looking for his side's improved form to continue, said: "I could sense that when we played Rangers things were falling into place all over the park.

"That carried on in the two games against Arbroath, so we head to Forfar in good shape.

"We won 2-1 at our place earlier in the season and I know that they will be going all out to make up for that. We will have to play well to win."
