Duo missing for Forfar

Forfar will be missing Michael Bolochoweckyj and Dale Hilson through suspension as they host Angus neighbours Arbroath in a game that will help determine who earns a play-off place at the end of the season.

Keith Gibson remains out with a knee injury, however Odmar Faero returns for the Loons after international duty with the Faroe Islands.

Station Park manager Dick Campbell said: "This is a big game for both ourselves and Arbroath. I am disappointed that our last two games were postponed as we had picked up seven points from a possible 10 and were playing well.

"We have not beaten Arbroath this season but we have not had any luck against them either so hopefully things will balance out in this game. A win could set us up for a very exciting May.

Arbroath have no injury or suspension worries as they look for the win that would see them overtake their hosts in the hunt for a play-off spot.

Gayfield player/manager Paul Sheerin reckons this game will have an extra edge to it.

"This will be played like a cup-tie as both sides want control of fourth spot," he said. "Being a derby match makes it even more exciting. With Forfar having a game in hand on us a draw may well suit them but we will be looking for the three points.

"We have done well against them already this season but this is the start of a really important part of the season where all the games will have extra significance."
