Campbell has plenty in attack

Forfar manager Dick Campbell has striking selection problems of the right kind ahead of their Angus Derby clash against Arbroath.

Former Red Lichtie Gavin Swankie has been passed fit, Dundee United youngster Dale Hilson has been added on loan and new signing Gavin Mallin scored twice in a midweek reserve game to give Campbell plenty of options.

Missing for the Loons will be the suspended Mark McCulloch and the injured trio of Derek Soutar, Odmar Faeroe and Keith Gibson.

Campbell said: "It is good to have so many choices and I have to make sure I pick the right team as Arbroath were magnificent against Celtic in midweek.

"They have been rightly praised for that performance but my players will be going all out to bring them back down to earth."

Arbroath boss Paul Sheerin has no fitness or suspension worries.

However, he has delayed naming his side after the exertions put in against Celtic in the Scottish Cup.

The Gayfield side lost 1-0, but played very well and Sheerin said: "There are a few tired legs so I will see how everyone is on Saturday before finalising things.

"We have shown what we can do and now we have to maintain the standard of play that we set against Celtic in order that we can make the play-offs at least.

"Forfar will be looking for any signs of tiredness or any signs of deflation after a high profile week and it is also Derby game so we have to be ready."
