Forfar missing suspended trio for Airdrie's visit
Forfar have Thomas O'Brien, Scott Martin and Andy Ryan missing against Airdrie at Station Park due to suspension.
Kerr Hay can play after his ban for a dismissal in an under-20 game during the week was appealed, yet Michael Travis remains out with a knee injury.
Manager Gary Bollan said: "We picked up a point at the home of the champions Dunfermline last weekend and we need to play at that level again to defeat Airdrie.
"There are only six points between us so they have plenty of reasons for wanting to win as well. We know that we are in for a tough afternoon but we can win."
Airdrie will be without on-loan Rangers midfielder Jordan Thompson, who has an ankle injury.
Stand-in manager Danny Lennon is keen for his side to meet two objectives with one win.
Lennon said: "If we beat Forfar we can stop looking over our shoulder at relegation issues and still be involved in the chase for the promotion play-offs. To win we are going to have to play better than we did against Stenhousemuir last weekend.
"Our possession of the ball was not good enough however the players fought to get a late equaliser. If we can match that resolve with better play then we can get a win at Station Park."
