Denholm denies Warriors

Substitute Danny Denholm earned Forfar a point after the play-off contenders recovered a two-goal deficit to draw 3-3 at home to Stenhousemuir.

Stewart Kean swept home John Gemmell's assist just five minutes into the game to give the Warriors an early advantage.

Omar Kader's clinical 10th-minute finish levelled the scores before Gemmell nodded in Nicholas Devlin's cross to restore the visitors' lead in the 31st minute.

Gemmell was on target again four minutes later, this time rising highest to head Jamie Reid's centre past Darren Hill.

After David Rowson had upended Kader inside the area, Iain Campbell stepped up to get the Loons back into the contest with a calmly-taken penalty just two minutes later.

The Station Park supporters were made to wait until the 77th minute for the equaliser, which eventually came when Denholm fired in a right-footed finish before Scot Buist was sent off for a foul on Forfar midfielder Martyn Fotheringham.
