Fotheringham is Forfar hero
Martyn Fotheringham netted a first-half brace as Forfar cruised to a 3-0 victory over 10-man Stenhousemuir.
The Sky Blues took the lead in the fourth minute when Gavin Swankie steered the ball past Stenny goalkeeper Chris Smith from the middle of the area.
The Warriors were reduced to 10 men in the 27th minute when Ross McMillan was given his marching orders for fouling Omar Kader in the box. Fotheringham scored from the spot to double his side's lead.
The hosts made it 3-0 six minutes before the break when Fotheringham curled the ball into the top right corner of Smith's net.
Forfar had a number of chances to increase their lead in the second period, but they did not take them and had to settle for three.
