Leaders Dunfermline hit Forfar for four

Faissal El Bakhtaoui's double helped Dunfermline earn a 4-2 win at Forfar to remain six points clear at the top of the Scottish League One table.

Both sides hit the woodwork early on before Dunfermline made the breakthrough in the 18th minute as El Bakhtaoui forced his way into the box before scoring with a low left-foot shot.

Forfar hit back in the 41st minute when Iain Campbell made no mistake from the penalty spot after Shaun Rooney was adjudged to have pushed Danny Denholm as he jumped to meet a cross.

El Bakhtaoui restored Dunfermline's lead four minutes into the second half with a fierce shot and Joe Cardle punished a defensive mistake to add the third on the hour.

Michael Travis pulled one back for Forfar after 73 minutes with a header from a corner but Ryan Wallace added a fourth for Dunfermline six minutes later when he beat the offside trap to run through on goal.
