Dunfermline brush aside Forfar

Second in the league Dunfermline brushed aside Forfar with a convincing 4-2 win away at Station Park.


The away side made a dream start, when Faissal El Bakhtaoui chipped keeper Rob Douglas to find the net after four minutes.


The Pars didn't have things all their own way, as Forfar battled their way into an early second half lead through goals from James Dale after 36 minutes and Gavin Swankie on the hour mark.


This spurred Jim Jefferies' team into action as they hit three goals in the last 20 minutes to claim the three points.


Substitute Stephen Husband fired home from 25 yards after 69 minutes, before Darren Dods turned in a Danny Grainger cross for an own goal to give the visiting side the lead two minutes later.


Lawrence Shankland rounded off the win in the 89th minute as he fired the ball into the corner from inside the area.
