Forfar 1-1 Peterhead: Report

06 November 2010 23:43
Forfar snatch point despite disadvantage Nine-man Forfar managed to snatch a point in a 1-1 draw with Peterhead at Station Park. A dull first half was brought to life when Iain Campbell was dismissed for picking up two bookings in the space of a minute. The defender up-ended Martin Bavidge to earn a caution but was handed another yellow card seconds later by referee Steven Nicholls. And to compound the Sky Blues' problems, Ross Campbell was also dismissed. The striker was given his marching orders for violent conduct in the 34th minute. Peterhead looked to make the most of their advantage but had to wait until the 79th minute to take the lead when Nicky Clark headed in. But with two minutes left, Dick Campbell's side claimed a leveller thanks to Martyn Fotheringham's fine strike into the bottom corner.
