Husband stunner snatches win

Stephen Husband's stunning strike ensured Forfar kept pace with the top two in Scottish League One after a 1-0 win against Dunfermline.

Husband found the top corner from 35 yards just before the hour-mark and Dunfermline had no answer.

The Pars had started well and home goalkeeper Rab Douglas was forced into a good save from Alex Whittle before Whittle was in action at the other end, clearing Darren Dods' header off the line.

Forfar began to take control and Gavin Swankie was denied by Ryan Scully's impressive save early in the second half while Dale Hilson was denied by the post.

But there was no stopping Husband as his fierce drive sailed into the top corner and that proved enough.
