McManus in late show

Paul McManus scored one of East Fife's two late goals as they beat 10-man Forfar 3-0.

The visitors went down to 10 men in the seventh minute of the game when Martyn Fotheringham was dismissed for a lunge on East Fife's Jordon Forster.

The Fifers made their man advantage count and went in front on the brink of half-time when David Muir headed home from close range.

The hosts piled on the pressure early in the second half and had a number of chances to extend their lead further. Paul McManus nearly made it 2-0 in the 63rd minute but his audacious 25-yard effort was tipped over the bar.

Scott Smith blasted home from 18 yards to make it 2-0 in the 89th minute before East Fife sealed the points when McManus struck the ball low past Derek Soutar in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
