Forest Green Rovers boss Colin Addison is looking to boost his injury-hit squad with the signing of at least one new face ahead of the meeting with Northwich Victoria.
Addison has a number of first-teamers sidelined by injury, illness and suspension and is targeting Barnet striker Peter Beadle and Swansea City wing-back Andrew Mumford.
Thirty-one-year-old Beadle is only on a short-term deal with the Bees, having scored three goals in 13 Nationwide Conference games for the Underhill club.
Left-sided Mumford, 22, is currently out of favour at the Vetch Field and is well known to former Swans boss Addison.
He told the Gloucester Citizen: "I've been on to Barnet about Beadle and I am keen to get Mumford here too, because we need to strengthen the troops, especially ahead of the Christmas programme.
"Even if we can get one of the two lads it would be a bonus."
