Forest Green Rovers had one new face among their squad for the weekend trip to Southport and boss Colin Addision is hoping to add further to his options.
Rovers battled back for a point at Haig Avenue, Darren Jones scoring both goals in a 2-2 draw and on-loan Chippenham Town striker Steve Tweddle came on at half time for Lee Russell.
The 32-year-old forward had linked up with Rovers on Friday, with Rob Cook moving in the opposite direction.
Meanwhile, Addison is also casting an eye over Bishop's Cleeve midfielder Mitch Counsell and is on the trail of the experienced Fraser Digby as goalkeeping cover.
The Rovers supremo told the Gloucester Citizen: "Steve Perrin is still struggling with a thigh strain and we're looking at Digby as a possibility."
