Forest Green Rovers manager Tim Harris admitted he was looking forward to the end of the season, following a third straight defeat for his side.
A 3-1 home reverse to Dagenham & Redbridge made it four games without a win for Rovers and left Harris targeting some improved displays next term.
He told the Gloucester Citizen: "We did it again didn't we.
"We went and shot ourselves in the foot and made a couple of terrible defensive mistakes and it was very frustrating because it gave us a mountain to climb.
"Understandably, the lads were very down in the dressing room, but we have got to be honest, we cannot wait for the season to end now.
"We know we are safe and we have to start building for next season now."
