Gateshead-Forest Green postponed

Gateshead's Blue Square Premier game at home to Forest Green on Saturday has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch at the International Stadium.The referee made a pitch inspection on Friday morning in heavy rain (0900 GMT). The pitch was already waterlogged and, with storms forecast, to avoid any wasted journeys the match has been called off. No new date has yet been agreed to rearrange the fixture. .... read more
