Brown is Forest Green assistant

Blue Square Premier side Forest Green Rovers have named David Brown as their new player-assistant manager.The 30-year-old former Hull, Hereford and Accrington forward joined Rovers in January after leaving Barrow and scored three goals in 18 games. The appointment seems to indicate the departure of Jerry Gill from the club after only seven months in the role.
