I’m not happy about the England game being on the internet and that. Them suits at the FA have got no idea how the man on the street goes about their business. This aint Facebook people, it’s football.

England games are about being shoe-horned into a loud, smelly pub and fighting tooth and nail to get to the bar. The stronger you are, the more drunk you get. It’s survival of the fittest in our local, like that Bear Grylls bloke.

It’s all part of the experience aint it? If I want to sit down in front of a PC with a cuppa and a digestive biscuit I'll get a job in a call centre. Shouting at Frank Lampard requires a team effort. Everybody knows that.

Luckily for us our local landloard is a bit of Stephen Hawking when it comes stuff like this. He’s fixed up the broadband to run through the big screen and we’re all having a lock-in to watch the game for a tenner a head. And that includes a free lager.

Ok, it’s probably illegal , but if old purple-face Fergie can get away with calling the ref a fattie then I reckon we’ll be alright. Besides, the old bill will probably wanna watch the match anyway.

Changing the subject, we won 4-2 on Sunday against the dirtiest team this side of South America. Flipper got a blinding hat-trick and we made him drink a pint of Baileys and coke afterwards.

You should have seen it, he threw up like a sick puppy.

Not quite sure why they call him Flipper, but then I aint never seen him in the water.
