Follow Ukraine v England: LIVE online at football.co.uk
2009-10-06
By now you will have heard the earth-shattering news. Unlike the revolution, 10,000 re-runs of Friends and the private life of just about every pointless celebrity on earth, England's World Cup qualifier against Ukraine on Saturday will not be televised.
For some reason this has prompted outrage. "We demand to see it," scream the masses. "How could we possibly reconcile our lives if we were to miss such seminal footballing action."
Bearing in mind England have already qualified for next year's World Cup and Saturday's match will probably be the biggest non-event since Kula Shaker reformed, it's hard to see what all the fuss it about.
But for those of you who are hurting, for those of you with a void in their Saturday tea-time schedule that desperately needs filling, fear not. We at football.co.uk have come to the rescue.
YOU CAN FOLLOW LIVE TEXT COMMENTARY OF UKRAINE v ENGLAND RIGHT HERE AT FOOTBALL.CO.UK FROM 5PM AND THE REALLY CLEVER ONES AMONG YOU CAN EVEN SIGN UP FOR OUR MOBILE SERVICE AND FOLLOW IT IN THE PUB!
"Why thank you football.co.uk," you scream. "No problem," we reply. "Just don't blame us if England don't romp home 7-0."
