This time a couple of seasons ago Cech was considered the best keeper in the world, he'd just won the Premiership with Chelsea and everything was going well but then came the infamous moment involving Stephen Hunt. That left him out for six months and once he came back he had even more back luck with head injuries.
The season just finished was his poorest since joining Chelsea, he made a lot of uncharacteristic mistakes and the mistake against Turkey that basically cost his team a place in the Quarter Finals was the worst of all.
There have been claims that he has lost his bravery which is a huge part of being a keeper. With this latest blunder his confidence will be at a very low point so can he bounce back again or will we never again see the Cech of two years ago?
