    Eastbourne Borough face another trip to Gloucestershire if they beat Oxford United in their FA Cup 1st Round replay on Wednesday 16 November, after being drawn away to Cheltenham Town, currently 15th in League Two. The 2nd Round tie will be played on the weekend of 3-4 December. By coincidence, Oxford are also due to visit Whaddon Road for a league fixture on 6 December.

    A first home win of the season in the Nationwide Conference South and a leap into the top half of the table is Dorchesters target when they host second-from-bottom Maidenhead United tomorrow. Although they are unbeaten in five consecutive league games, Mark Morriss side have been unable to reproduce their superb away form at the Avenue Stadium where they have picked up just two out of a possible 18 points.

    Carshalton travelled to the west coast side still looking for the 1st win of the season against a team who had conceded 15 goals in 3 games. Carshalton welcomed back Matt York into the starting line-up after he signed from AFC Wimbledon.The Seagulls started much brighter and had a couple of early chances. Carshaltons first attack came from a good 3 man move involving Marlon Patterson, Richard Hodgson and Luke Fontana which ended with Lukes good cross through the 6 yard area not being met by a Robins Player.

    Cambridge City FC announced that BBC Radio Cambridgeshire will be at Milton Road on Friday afternooon to present several hours of programmes before and during Citys home game against Hereford United in the 1st Round of the FA Cup.Not only will BBCs Lilywhites usual reporter Andy Abbott be doing his stuff in his normal spot at the game, but he will be accompanying Jonathon Park who will be commentating live on the whole match.

    The manager of Bognor Regis Town, Jack Pearce, reports that most of the players from last season will be back on board for 2005/06. Pearce has also announced that Darren Kilpartrick, who was a popular Rocks players some seasons ago, is returning and will combine playing with managing Bognor’s new reserve side that will compete in the newly formed Sussex Midweek League.

    Craig, who scored 7 goals in 15 games, said that travelling from his Slough to Thurrock was beginning to take it toll. Joining the club is Carl Williams - a 28 year old midfielder from Cambridge. Williams started his career at QPR before playing a couple of first team games for Fulham he then dropped into non-league with Collier Row. Most of his time has been spent with Hitchin Town before signing for Cambridge City in January 2004

    Welling Uniteds wonderful FA Cup run came to an end 6/11/2005 as they lost 4-1 to League 1 side Huddersfield Town. Two goals from Andy Booth plus one a piece for Danny Schofield and Andy Holdsworth put Huddersfield through to the Second Round. Welling scored a late consolation goal when Chris Moore headed in 9 minutes from time.

    A downpour forced the abandonment of Westons Conference South game at Weymouth when the immaculate Wessex Stadium became unplayable.The party encountered heavy rain before they left the M5 motorway and by the time they arrived, it had got much heavier and shortly after the game started, pools of water began to appear, leaving referee Kevin Pike, from Gillingham, Dorset, with little alternative but to call the game off after 43 minutes.

    Keeper Matthews in line for FA Cup Award

    Weymouth keeper Jason Matthews is in the running for The FAs prestigious FA Cup Player of the Round award after his First Round heroics at the weekend. Jason made several late saves, including one at point blank range, to earn Weymouth a well-deserved replay against the twice European Cup winners Nottingham Forest, after a 1 - 1 draw.
