Skipper back for Cod Army

Fleetwood captain Steve McNulty is poised for a return to Micky Mellon's starting line-up when Blue Square Bet South strugglers Bromley visit Highbury Stadium in the first round of the FA Cup.

McNulty has been sidelined in recent weeks with a calf problem but the experienced centre-back was an unused substitute during Town's goalless npower League Two draw at Rochdale last time out.

The Cod Army must do without on-loan Crystal Palace midfielder Alex Marrow after he was sent off at Spotland, but Junior Brown is set to be restored on the left wing by boss Mellon having served a one-match ban for collecting five yellow cards this term.

Marrow's fellow loanees Curtis Obeng, Rob Edwards and Tom Barkhuizen have all been made available for cup action by their parent clubs.

Veteran midfielder Damien Johnson (hamstring) faces a late fitness test alongside defender Shaun Beeley (thigh).

Forward Andy Mangan is a long-term absentee as he begins a four-to-five month rehabilitation period following knee surgery.

Bromley will be without suspended defender Moses Swaibu.

The former Lincoln man was sent off during his side's 1-0 win over Worcester City in the last round.

Bromley's Sierra Leone international Albert Jarrett will definitely miss out as he continues to recover from the serious knee injury he sustained during his side's game against Sutton in September.

Midfielder Harry Harding, a recent signing from Carshalton Athletic, is cup-tied having played for his former employers in an earlier round.

The Ravens currently sit 16th in the Blue Square Bet South table after a turbulent start to the season but have shown great form in the FA Cup.
