No fresh worries for Cod Army

Fleetwood have no new injury concerns when they host York at Highbury.

The Cod Army do, however, continue to be without striker Jamille Matt and midfielder Jeff Hughes.

Matt has an ankle injury and is back doing light work with the medical team, although his return is still considered some way away. Hughes, meanwhile, may not play again after breaking his leg against Hartlepool earlier this month.

Graham Alexander's squad has been trimmed this week with defender Shaun Beeley, winger Ryan Crowther, striker Steven Gillespie and forward Alex Titchiner all released.

York's new teenage loan signing Will Hayhurst is hoping to make his full debut, but skipper David McGurk is a major injury doubt.

Preston winger Hayhurst, 19, stepped off the bench in the midweek home defeat to Chesterfield, while central defender McGurk was forced off in the closing stages after twisting his back.

Striker Ryan Jarvis is another injury doubt as he is still struggling with an ankle injury sustained in last weekend's defeat at Hartlepool that kept him out on Tuesday night.

Midfielder Lewis Montrose will return to contention following suspension and forward Ryan Bowman is hoping to continue after overcoming an Achilles injury in time to start against Chesterfield.
