Selection poser for Fleetwood boss Uwe Rosler

Fleetwood head coach Uwe Rosler is facing a selection dilemma for Tuesday night's FA Cup second round replay against Shrewsbury.

Rosler's injury list grew further at the weekend when midfielder Kyle Dempsey left the field on a stretcher and was taken straight to hospital with a badly-gashed leg during his side's 2-1 Sky Bet League One victory over Walsall at Highbury Stadium.

The club is still awaiting news of the extent of the damage, but Dempsey will join fellow midfielders Jimmy Ryan (foot) and Martyn Woodford (knee ligaments) and defenders Ashley Eastham (broken jaw) and Michael Duckworth (groin) on the sidelines.

Nick Haughton has been recalled from his loan spell at Salford City to provide midfield cover, but he is ineligible for the cup game.

Shrewsbury will be without defender Ryan McGivern for the trip.

The Northern Irishman came off in the second half of Saturday's 1-0 victory over Millwall after sustaining a shoulder injury and he will be out for a few weeks.

Joe Riley (knee) returned to action in the closing stages at the weekend following a spell on the sidelines and he could play some part on Tuesday.

The winner of the clash will travel to Bristol City in the third round.
