Cod Army still missing duo
David Ball and Bobby Grant are still not ready to return to Fleetwood's attack against Portsmouth.
Ball continues to be troubled by an ankle problem which has seen him sidelined since February 4.
Grant, meanwhile, injured his knee on his Cod Army debut and while a return could be just around the corner, the Sky Bet League Two club must also adhere to the wishes of the striker's parent club Blackpool.
Fleetwood boss Graham Alexander, who is without midfielder Jeff Hughes for the remainder of the season because of a broken leg, could stick with the XI which held Bury to a 2-2 draw at the JD Stadium on Tuesday.
Portsmouth skipper Ben Chorley is an injury doubt.
The centre-half had to come off during Tuesday night's goalless draw with Burton - Pompey's third straight stalemate - with an Achilles problem and boss Richie Barker will make a late decision on him.
Full-back Daniel Alfei (hamstring) and winger Andy Barcham (thigh) were absent in midweek and will also be assessed.
Simon Ferry (back) continues to miss out while fellow midfielder Toumani Diagouraga's loan spell comes to an end after the match, although parent club Brentford are willing to let him stay on.
