Two out for Fleetwood
Fleetwood are still likely to be without groin-injury victims Stephen Jordan and Alan Goodall when Newport visit Highbury in Sky Bet League Two.
Goodall, who recently returned from a loan spell with Grimsby, took part in a practice match in midweek yet is lacking match fitness so Leeds loanee Charlie Taylor will be expected to continue at left-back.
Jordan has a similar injury but is still considered a couple of weeks away from full fitness.
The Cod Army got back to winning ways against York last weekend after three games without a victory and boss Graham Alexander could stick with that XI which would mean striker Jamille Matt was rewarded for his goal without a second straight start.
Newport's new signing Adedeji Oshilaja will go straight into the squad.
The Cardiff defender penned a one-month loan deal with the Exiles on Thursday and is going to be involved against the Cod Army.
Justin Edinburgh was searching for defensive reinforcements after Andrew Hughes suffered a hamstring injury in the win over Southend last Saturday which rules him out of the trip.
Fellow defender Tony James is also doubtful with a dead leg and County remain without a number of senior players including striker Aaron O'Connor, Max Porter, Byron Anthony and Andy Sandell.
