McKenna on the sidelines again

Fleetwood continue to be without suspended midfielder Paul McKenna as they look to keep their play-off hopes alive against Dagenham.

McKenna was absent for Tuesday night's 2-0 defeat at Barnet after the Hull loanee was sent off against Plymouth.

That result delivered a severe blow to the Cod Army's promotion aspirations and manager Graham Alexander could shuffle his pack once more as he tries to avoid a repeat of an "embarrassing" performance.

Gareth Evans, Barry Nicholson and Anthony Barry were all reinstated against the Bees and Alexander could make further changes following a poor run which has seen his side win only one of their last eight games.

Defender Dean Howell will not be available as he continues to struggle with a leg injury.

Steven Gillespie (hamstring), Youl Mawene (foot) and Andy Mangan (knee) are back in training but not yet match fit.

Dagenham have no new injury or suspension concerns.

Striker Sam Williams is the only absentee for the Daggers having been forced to undergo a knee operation last week which is likely to rule him out for the remainder of the season.

Interim manager Wayne Burnett is naturally pleased to boast pretty much a fully-fit squad.

"It's good, it's competition for places which is important," he told Daggers Player. "We have everyone fit and readily available."

Dagenham go into the game boasting a three-match unbeaten record and likely needing just a handful more points to make sure of npower League Two football next season.
