Cod Army hoping David Henen can answer their call to arms

Fleetwood hope to have forward David Henen back in contention for the home game against Bury.

Henen, on loan from Everton, missed Monday's 3-1 home defeat to Wigan after taking a knock to the ankle in the Boxing Day draw at Shrewsbury and will have a late fitness test.

The versatile Danny Andrew (thigh) and striker Vamara Sanogo (hamstring) both remain doubtful.

Forwards Bobby Grant, Ash Hunter and Jamie Proctor are among those pushing for recalls as the Cod Army chase their first Sky Bet League One win in five matches.

Bury midfielder Tom Soares is hoping to shake off a hamstring problem in time to be included in boss David Flitcroft's plans.

Soares was one of two changes Flitcroft made for Monday's 1-0 defeat at Port Vale with Craig Jones stepping in, while Tom Pope returned up front in place Danny Rose, who is pushing for a recall.

Teenage striker George Miller was named on the bench for the first time at Port Vale and will be hoping to be included again.

Flitcroft has no major new injury or suspension worries as his side bid to avoid a third straight defeat.
