Schumacher doubt for Cod Army

Midfielder Steven Schumacher will be a major doubt when Fleetwood host AFC Wimbledon.

Schumacher returned to the starting XI in midweek following an ankle injury but lasted just 31 minutes before he had to be substituted in the 4-0 loss to Plymouth.

Striker Jamille Matt made just his third start in four months following an ankle injury of his own and boss Graham Alexander could chose to restore Jon Parkin to his starting line-up as a result.

Alan Goodall did not feature in midweek because of an illness bug which has swept through the Cod Army's camp, while David Ball (ankle) and midfielder Jeff Hughes (broken leg) are definitely missing again.

George Francomb is set to miss out for AFC Wimbledon.

The former Norwich midfielder missed Tuesday night's 2-1 win over Newport with a groin problem and is still struggling to be fit.

Defender Aaron Morris will be added to the squad after he was rested in midweek, but midfielder Peter Sweeney will not be risked yet following two months out with a fractured metatarsal.

Charlie Sheringham and Kevin Sainte-Luce are pushing for starts after both climbed off the bench to score against County.
