Three-time Russian champions CSKA Moscow have reached an agreement with Brazilian giants Flamengo over the transfer of forward Vagner Love, local media reported on Wednesday.

Reports said that Flamengo will pay the Red Army side 9.7 million euros ($12.6m) in three installments for the services of the 27-year-old -- full name Vagner Silva de Souza -- who has been playing for CSKA since 2004.

"We have reached an agreement with the Russians. Tomorrow (Wednesday) we will complete talks with CSKA and sign a contract with Vagner," local media quoted Flamengo vice-chairman Michel Levy as saying.

Vagner has scored 117 goals in 244 games for CSKA but recently said that he wishes to return to his homeland.

In 2009, he had a spell on loan with his first professional side, Palmeiras, but failed to shine there and then went on to Flamengo for another six months before returning to CSKA in 2010.

With CSKA, Vagner has won two Russian league titles, five Russian Cups, three Russian Super Cups and the UEFA Cup in 2005.
