Vargas cool over Real rumours

Fiorentina wing-back Juan Manuel Vargas is happy with life in Florence, despite rumours linking him with a big-money move to Real Madrid in the summer.
The 26-year-old Peru international joined La Viola from Catania in the summer of 2008 and has consistently impressed during his time at the Artemio Franchi.
That has raised the spectre of a swoop by Real, but Vargas is in no hurry to move on, telling La Nazione: "I have chosen Florence and I will not leave here.
"If Fiorentina don't want me then I will leave. But they have to say it to my face and to the fans because I don't want to come across as a traitor."
