Toni appeals to Italian clubs

Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni has appealed to Italian clubs to take him back to Serie A.
Toni, 32, has scored almost 60 goals during two seasons in the Bundesliga but the arrival of Mario Gomez from Stuttgart is likely to see him slip down the pecking order.
Italy striker Toni, who enjoyed profitable spells with Palermo and Fiorentina in Serie A before heading to Germany, is desperate to play first-team football ahead of next summer's World Cup finals.
"I'd like to come back," he told Sky Italia. "I know there is the crisis that clubs can't invest so much but someone has looked at me.
"Should I not find space at Bayern, I won't have problems in coming back to Italy. I want to play in the year that will end with the World Cup."
