Marchionni heads to La Viola

Fiorentina have agreed a deal with Juventus to take co-ownership of midfielder Marco Marchionni.

The 28-year-old winger will now join the Florence club for the duration of the next Serie A season.

Marchionni made 27 appearances in all competitions for the Turin giants last season.

"Fiorentina announces that an agreement has been reached with Juventus to acquire part of Marco Marchionni's sporting rights," confirmed a club statement.

"In the next few days, the club will negotiate personal terms with the player."
