La Viola look to make history

Fiorentina captain Riccardo Montolivo has described Tuesday's Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich as the biggest game of his career.

La Viola could reach the last eight of Europe's premier club competition for the first time in more than 40 years should they overturn a 2-1 first-leg deficit at the Artemio Franchi.

Bayern won 2-1 on home soil three weeks ago following a controversial late winner from Miroslav Klose.

"This is truly the game of our lives," said Montolivo. "We will bring out all the anger that we have carried since the first leg at the Allianz Arena on February 17.

"We want to bring all of that on the pitch and enter the history books, not only for us but for all our fans."
