Kroldrup fires Viola warning

Denmark defender Per Kroldrup is eyeing a new long-term contract offer to extend his stay with Fiorentina.

The 30-year-old centre-back is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, having spent the last four years with La Viola.

Kroldrup's agent, Ippolito Gallovich, told Tuttomercatoweb: "I can just say that I will discuss it with (director of sport) Pantaleo Corvino by the end of February.

"Our stance is clear - we will only stay here in exchange for a long-term deal, otherwise it's not going to happen. If Fiorentina are not up for it, the deal will become extremely complicated.

"Regardless, my client has plenty of options in the transfer market, since it is difficult to find reliable players in that position."
