Fiorentina slash prices to attract fans

Fiorentina have slashed ticket prices in an effort to convince fans to pack the Stadio Artemio Franchi to help boost the team's survival hopes.

La Viola are one place and five points above the relegation zone but have been in freefall, taking just one point out of the last 12 available.

Tickets for the next home game against Palermo on April 11 will cost between five and seven euros.

Fiorentina rarely fill more than about half the stadium for matches and have recently found their fans particularly hostile.
