Boro hand trial to Cypriot starlet

Middlesbrough are set to take a look at Cypriot starlet Dimitris Moulazimis - but could face competition from Fiorentina for his signature.The 17-year-old right-back is one of the stars of Cyprus' Under-17 squad and has impressed a number of scouts.He trained with Serie A outfit Fiorentina in December, and now he is set to spend a period with Gareth Southgate's Boro troops.Moulazimis' current club are ENP and Boro already know them having snapped up forward Onisiforos Roushias from the club earlier this season.Boro may have to make a quick decision on Moulazimis if they want to sign him, as reports in Cyprus suggest that Fiorentina have invited him back for a second spell in Florence later this month.
