"Best all round display I've seen for some time. To be fair Swansea were also very good and took the game to us when losing. Any commentator watching would fail to choose who was up for relegation or promotion......Ashbee and Carter got standing ovations when they were replaced. The trio of Ash, Carts and Nicholson was brilliant. They stopped Swansea in the middle, any further penetration was stopped by Morgan & Khumalo who had a great debut. Billy and Ricardo closed the wings and attacked, also supporting Treacy and Ian Hume who ran everyone in their defence ragged and chased every loose ball. What Eddie Johnson brings to the table as Phil say's, I have yet to grasp. He is still the weakest link. Parry came on and slotted in as did Barton. Ellington made a vast difference and worried their defence which gave more space for Hume to run into. Ian Hume is our regular MOM. He brings a win and nothing else will do mentality.......Well played and Planned. Tactics Brilliant...."

"This is interesting - according to the Watford Observer this morning Ellington has returned to the UK but is laid up with flu!!! "

"I would be very surprised to see Billy Davies back at PNE, Reason he did not leave amicably, the only reason he would come back is that TH is going to back him in the transfer market. Billy Davies only likes spending money and more the merrier. Yes I think he could get us out of the mess we are in,but at a cost. Will TH back him I don`t know."
