Pressley enjoys Bairns victory

Falkirk manager Steven Pressley was a happy man after his side earned a 1-0 win at Motherwell to move within one point of safety.

A Ryan Flynn goal proved decisive at Fir Park, with the Bairns reigniting their hopes of still being in the SPL next season.

Pressley said: "I've almost been like a broken record week after week, the performances have been exceptional and our desire has been exceptional.

"I'm so pleased for them because we finally got what we merited."

Pressley was also full of praise for captain Darren Barr, who gave another superb display ahead of a summer switch to Hearts.

He added: "His levels of desire are an example to everyone - he's a warrior. He trains like that every day.

"Although he has signed a pre-contract with Hearts, nobody could ever question that man's commitment to this football club.

"My only disappointment is that I'm not going to get an opportunity to work with him for another few years. He is a dying breed in the modern game."
