Steven Pressley reiterated his claim Falkirk will stay in the SPL after a significant 2-1 home victory against relegation rivals St Mirren.[LNB] The Westfield outfit achieved back-to-back wins for the first time in almost two years to move level on points with the Paisley side at the foot of the table.[LNB]Falkirk remain bottom on goal difference but their manager's positivity appears to be paying off.[LNB]Former Scotland defender Pressley boldly claimed when he replaced Eddie May in February the club would stay up and their latest victory could prove crucial ahead of the post-split fixtures.[LNB]He said: "I only look to ourselves. If we keep taking care of our own business, then no doubt about it we'll survive.[LNB]"We have got a momentum just now - that's only one defeat in our last five.[LNB]"We have got a confidence about us and we just have to keep focused. What is important for us now is next Saturday."[LNB]Pedro Moutinho curled home a 20-yard free-kick in the second minute of first-half stoppage-time to make the crucial breakthrough.[LNB]St Mirren defender John Potter felt the Portuguese had gone down too cheaply to win the set piece, protesting to referee Dougie McDonald even after the half-time whistle.[LNB]Ex-Bairn Michael Higdon was then credited for nodding another Moutinho free-kick into his own net after 65 minutes.[LNB]Andy Dorman's injury-time consolation was exactly that as Falkirk held on for a deserved success.[LNB]Pressley added: "It's been some time since we've put together back-to-back wins, so I'm delighted.[LNB]"Not only that, I was delighted with the performance. All the things that I talk about, the desire, confidence and ability to play under pressure without fear - we showed all those qualities today.[LNB]"It's a very, very young team that have found themselves rooted to the bottom of the table for most of the season.[LNB]"It's credit to them all, I'm so pleased for them, I really am. It's not about me, it's about that group of players."[LNB]Of Moutinho, he said: "I love him to bits, he is an infectious character.[LNB]"I thought not only his free-kicks but his performance was brilliant.[LNB]"Last week, he produced that make-the-difference moment against Motherwell and again he did it again.[LNB]"That is why he plays, that's why the supporters love him, because he can - at any given moment - make the difference."[LNB]
